About this service

What companionship looks like with us.

Loneliness has a measurable impact on health, mood and recovery. Companionship visits keep that connection alive — a regular friendly face who knows your stories, your favourite biscuit and what's worrying you this week.

Visits can be quiet company at home or active time out — a walk in the park, a trip to a favourite café, or help with a hobby that's drifted out of reach.

We match carers carefully on personality and interests, so visits feel like time with a friend rather than an appointment.

How it works

A clear path from first call to settled care.

  1. 01

    Personality match

We share carer profiles so you can choose someone whose interests align with yours.

  2. 02

    Regular slot

Visits are at the same time each week so they become part of the routine.

  3. 03

    Out and about

Carers are insured to drive their own car or accompany you on public transport.

  4. 04

    Family updates

Visit notes are shared with family if you'd like, so distant loved ones stay in the loop.

Frequently asked

Answers to the things families ask us first.

Can't see your question? Our coordinator will happily talk it through — no obligation.

Talk to a coordinator
Can my carer take me out?

Yes. With your consent we can plan regular outings — the local park, lunch, a hairdresser appointment, or visiting a friend.

Is companionship just for older people?

No. We support adults of any age who want regular, meaningful company.

Can I have two carers in rotation?

Absolutely. Many clients prefer a small rotation so there's always cover for holidays and sickness.
